Three Boys & an Old Lady

This blogging mama loves finding new things and spreading the word about fab finds

In our household, coffee is not reserved merely for morning rejuvenation. Coffee is a beverage enjoyed day and night, served hot or cold and appreciated for the amount of work that goes into producing a quality product.

Although I prefer flavored and light and medium roasts [foo-foo coffees hubby calls them].  Hubby prefers darker, more robust roasts. However, we both prefer and serve quality coffee brands in our home.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review New England Coffee. New England Coffee is one of the largest independent roasters in the U.S. and uses Arabica beans in their coffee blends and roasts. The company offers a huge variety of flavors including the classic Costa Rican and French Roast coffees. However, it was the vast assortment of flavored coffees that tickled my taste bud fancy. For example, French Vanilla, Chocolate Cappuccino, Peach Cobbler, Hawaiian Macadamia Nut to name a few.

The Blueberry Cobbler sample I received had a subtle hint of fresh summer blueberries, cinnamon and allspice and was a delightful change to my typical flavored roast. There was a banner enticing me to “Try It Iced” and directed me to the company website for brewing details that I just had to share.
The New England Coffee recently launched their Try Me Iced website with tips on who to best brew coffee to be used as iced coffee. You can also find several other food and beverage recipes on this website including the Iced Blueberry Freeze recipe I tried.
