Three Boys & an Old Lady

This blogging mama loves finding new things and spreading the word about fab finds

A few weeks ago at the National PTA Convention I was given a bottle of Outlast hand sanitizer. The rep touted the sanitizer was unlike any other in that it provided “6 hours of protection”. I didn’t think much of it as I ALWAYS carry hand sanitizer in my purse. However, the following day I passed the same booth in the convention hall and again was given a bottle of the this hand sanitizer. I tried it and listened to the spiel about how this sanitizer was different than others. I was surprised to learn that most hand sanitizers only provide protection for 2 minutes.
Outlast Long-Lasting Hand Sanitizer is a liquid, not a gel like some of the other commercial hand sanitizers.  It absorbs rather quickly and didn’t leave my skin feeling dry like some of the others.  It’s compact and fits easily into a purse, diaper bag or clutch.
So when MomSelect presented the opportunity to host an Outlast Long-Lasting Hand Sanitizer Party, I quickly responded.  I was selected and in exchange for hosting a party I received a box of Outlast hand sanitizers, treat bags, balloons, handouts and party planning activity sheets and other goodies.
I decided to incorporate the Outlast Party with Los Tres Amigos Birthday Party.  What a great idea, huh?  Just before we cut the cake I showed the kids a demonstration called “Balloon a Choo” which illustrates how far germs travel and stressed the importance of hand washing or using hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.  I also pointed out unsuspecting places germs hide like shopping carts, shoe racks, ball pits, the bottomo of our purses, etc.  Then I handed each parent a bottle of Outlast Long-Lasting Hand Sanitizer.  I wish you could have seen the purses being lifted off the floor and tables being wiped after my demonstration.
