My Take
I am a staunch believer that breastfeeding is best for babies.  I understand and sympathize with those who are not able to breastfeed for whatever reason.  Yet, I know the benefits of breastfeeding.  When I delivered the second of Los Tres Amigos his iron was low and the doctors wanted to give him an iron shot.  However, I knew my breast milk contained iron and would be enough to restore his iron levels to where they should be.  I asked if I could breastfeed to see if this would help and the nurse was astounded that I knew this.  It worked!

I was fortunate that I didn’t have any problems breastfeeding with either of my pregnancies.  However, I still wish I had found out about this fab product earlier.  Thankfully, I have several pregnant family and friends who could benefit from this fab product.

Okay, first things first, Mamatini looks like one of those commercial tea drinks, but it tastes like, well, it’s an acquired taste.  I tried it at room temperature, I tried it over ice, I tried it hot and I tried it mixed in a smoothie.  I liked it hot and I LOVED it mixed in the smoothie.  I got the recipe from Mamatini’s Facebook page.  Yummy!

Mamatini Smoothie with Spinach and Berries

  • 16. oz bottle of Mamatini
  • 1 c. fresh spinach
  • 1 1/2 c. plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 3 c. frozen berries (mixed or your favorite)
  • 1 tsp. honey (I used Splenda instead of honey)

Directions

  1. Pour all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve

I also couldn’t wait to give a couple bottles to one of my friends who just joined the mommy club to get her take on this fab product.  She loved it!  “Mamatini is like a post-natal vitamin.”  I couldn’t agree more.

Overall, Mamatini is a great product and gets a thumbs up from this mommy!

Head over to Mamatini to purchase Mamatini for yourself or some other fab mommy you care about!
